What are Senior Rallies?
Senior rallies are for members to enable them to progress in their riding and Horsemanship, generally beyond what their own club or branch are able to offer in a general rally. Instruction is given in Dressage, Jumping and Horsemastership. Riders are grouped according to their age and ability but certificate level is a deciding factor for the general rallies. Specialist rallies are held from time to time and for these rallies specialist coaches may be employed. Senior rallies may be user pays a fee may be set to enable the coaches to be paid for their time and travel. We try to keep this to the minimum amount.

Clubs/Branches host Senior Rallies and riders and their parents/guardians are expected to help set up and put away equipment.

Who can attend?
Anyone who is a financial member of a Club or Branch and who have passed 'C' certificate

How many Senior Rallies can I a Club/Branch run?
You can hold as many as you like.

Do these rallies count towards attendance records?
Yes - up to three of these special rallies can be credited to qualify for certificates and competitions.


Conditions of Attending a Senior Rally

  • You must have passed C certificate and be a full financial member of your Club/Branch.
  • You must abide by the NZPCA Fair Play Charter
