NOMINATION GUIDELINES AND PRE-REQUISITES 

The following eligibility rule stands for All Pony Club competitions - it is an NZPCA rule.

To be eligible for selection, riders at the time of the nomination must: Be a financial member of NZPCA; Be of correct age to comply with any entry rules of the competition and its divisions. Attend any trial/s as required for selection for a team. Have complied with the NZPCA rally attendance rule, which states that: Riders who do not hold a certificate must attend a minimum of five (5) working rallies. Three (3) of these attendances must be the combination of rider and mount that are sitting the examination or entering the competition Riders who hold a D and/or D+ and/or C certificate must attend a minimum of five (5) working rallies. Three (3) of these attendances must be the combination of rider and mount that are sitting the examination or entering the competition Riders who hold a C+ certificate must attend a minimum of four (4) working rallies. Two (2) of these attendances must be the combination of rider and mount that are sitting the examination or entering the competition Riders who hold a B and or H and A certificates must attend a minimum of three (3) working rallies. One (1) of these attendances must be the combination of rider and mount that are sitting the examination or entering the competition.

 Please check with your Club and Branch officials as there may be further selection criteria which may vary between clubs. Nominees that are unclear about whether or not they have sufficient experience and results to nominate for an event are encouraged to discuss their nomination with their Head Coach and/or Branch President
