We are pleased to announce our thirteen-member squad, including one reserve, that will represent Auckland in the annual contest with Wellington, the Chanticleer Cup. The team is: Yvonne Bonfrer, Allan Fletcher, Yasmine George, Lynnette Gibbs, Christine Hide, Bruce Inglis, Maryan Kennedy, Virginia Kirk Smith, Heather Matthews, Jay Newton, Laurell Priestley, Ian Roberts, Tanel Vahk. Coach is Michael Emerson and Manager, Margaret Penny.

The Wellington team is:  Debby Butler, Christine Daykin,Ngaire Erikson, Yvonne Futcher, Dave Gwerder, Seymour Harawira, Theresa Harawira, Wendy Lawson, Michelle Maxwell, Shirley MacDonald, Kevin McFadgen, Tony Simpson.  Coach is Graeme Morris.

The tournament will be held on 24 and 25 August at Herne Bay Petanque Club.  Spectators and supporters will be most welcome.
