Belmont Pony Club is an inclusive community of young riders and their families. Our experienced coaches enjoy working with our riders and help to realise their potenial in working towards Pony Club Certificates, and encourage the highest level of sportsmanship and care for their equine partners.

Our club accepts riders up to 25 years, and we welcome all levels from lead rein up to those working at A and H certificate levels. 
The Belmont Pony Club clubrooms and main grounds are based at the Belmont Recreation Reserve, off Carter street in Lower Hutt.​​​​​​​

Our season usually starts in September with rallies most Tuesdays and Sundays, and we provide the opportunity for our members to represent at pony club team events for dressage, eventing, jumping and games.

​​​​​​​The club offers a subsidised managed grazing facility for members situated on the Belmont hills which borders the Belmont Regional Park and offers thousands of hectares of farm riding.
