“The Bruce Pulman Park experience was terrific,” All Blacks manager Darren Shand told Counties Sports Hub. “One of the most telling things for me was from Ethan Blackadder – a first-time All Black. He loved the experience of having four players together in a room.  Usually, we have players on their own or with one other player at most so this was a great bonding experience for him and the rest of the team.  The Pulman Lodge was great and ideally located so there was no real bus ride from our accommodation to the training field.

                         DIRECTIONS TO PULMAN LODGE

• From the Motorway exit off at the Takanini exit (#453).
• Travel south along Great South Rd towards Papakura.
• Take a left at the first big roundabout [Southgate Shopping Centre].
• This is Walters Road.  Follow Walters Road past Bruce Pulman Park & Pulman Arena on your left.
• Turn right into Battalion Drive, follow the Pulman Lodge signs to the end of the road, then turn right onto Te Aparangi Rd.
• You can find Pulman Lodge just a little bit further down the road on the left.

2 x Bunk Rooms (Tui Wing) 

Our Bunk Rooms each accommodates 18 x people in total including two chaperones/officials in separate single bedrooms.

2 x Dormitory Rooms (Kereru Wing) 

Each Dorm accommodates 8 x people and features a kitchenette with a separate dining area and bathrooms.

4 x Two-bedroom Apartments (Kokako Wing) 

These apartments each accommodates 3 x people across two bedrooms and feature a separate bathroom and a kitchenette (with a 2-plate cooktop & a microwave oven). 

2 x Three-bedroom Apartments (Takahe Wing) 

Each spacious apartment accommodates 8 x people and features a full-size kitchen, dining, and lounge area plus separate bathrooms and a washing machine/drier.

8 x Studio Rooms (Kokako Wing) 

Our studios each accommodates 3 x people and have private bathroom facilities.

All accommodation feature King-single beds, air conditioning/heat pumps, and Sky TV.  Studio rooms, two-bedroom Apartments, three-bedroom Apartments, and Dormitories all have LCD televisions in all bedroom and lounge areas.

                                  CATERING ONSITE

​​​​​​​We have a kitchen team onsite that can prepare all your meals. If you have specific dietary requirements, we can tailor-make the menu to suit your needs.
