Capital Football Young Leaders Programme is a new initiative in 2025 for youth football participants aged between 15-18. Capital Football is dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for young people to step into leadership roles within the game.

Through this initiative, 20 youth football participants from the Capital region will take part in a programme designed to:

• Build confidence and capability across a range of leadership behaviours
• Share their perspectives and help shape the future of youth football in the Capital
• Connect with experienced and supportive mentors
• Receive continued guidance to grow and develop on their leadership journey

The programme is free of cost to participants, and all sessions will take place in person at Capital Football’s offices at Petone Memorial Park.
