Life Members

Wayne Hawker

Wayne started coaching for Cashmere Netball Club in 1997 and remained an active member of the club to the end of 2023. As parent, manager, coach, umpire, committee member, treasurer and president Wayne also volunteered with Christchurch Netball as an umpire, whistler coach, administrator and board member during his 26 years of involvement in Christchurch Netball. A valued life member of the club and the Christchurch Netball community.

Wendy Lynch

Wendy volunteered as coach for many years taking many teams through to finals and winning many titles for the club. Wendy's daughters also played for the club and volunteered their time as coaches in the 1980's and 1990's.

Angela Wylie

Brenda Read Memorial Cup

Brenda Read was a valued member of the club. During her time she was involved in administration, fundraising, manager, coach, committee member and president. It was during her time as president that she passed away after a battle with cancer. The Read family donated the Memorial Cup to the club to be awarded to a club member who shared their life to be part of and give their time, support and commitment to the benefit of all at Cashmere Netball Club.
