Youth Development League 2021
In 2021 the Central Otago region will have two squads in the Football South Development league (FSDL) run by COFA. Central United will be made up with players born in 2004 to 2008 from Central Otago. The FSDL is for players that want to take their football to the next level. COFA welcomes all players that are committed to travel, train, play, and compete in this space. Players selected will represent the Central Otago region as an extension of your club.

Open trainings session for squad selections on 22nd , 24th Feb & 1st, 3rd March 2021
Information ZOOM meeting 17 Feb 2021, 700 pm
Monday 1815 - 1945 pm, Kelly's Flat Wanaka
Wednesday 1815 - 1945 pm, Event Centre Queenstown
To be selected you will have to attend at least 2 sessions
Teams selected before 6th March 2021
Only 3 2004 born can be selected for the U16 squad
A maximum of 16 players will be selected for the Game Day squad

Competence
Character
Selected players will not be eligible to play in the Saturday/Sunday COFA leagues unless not selected for that weekend
Training minimum 2 x week (compulsory)
Monday 1815 - 1945 pm - Wanaka
Wednesday 1815 - 1945 pm - Queenstown
Training starts 8th March 2021

Cost will be around $200 per player when selected (this includes your local club fees)
Fees cover training / transport on game days / league fees for three point officials
