What makes you different to other clubs:
We are associated with the Southern Rugby Football Club, and link in with the club for prizegivings and social functions, which are always a great time.
As a club we are hugely proud of all our teams involved in both the Mens and Saturday competitions. In their first year of entering a team the Southern Huskies Men's team contested well against teams that had been together for a couple of years; and went on to win the competition in 2023. Our Premier A team, the Southern Magpies have a strong history of winning, or being the runners up of the competition since 2012.
Trainings are held once a week on a Wednesday night.
Grades you compete in:
Premier A - Southern Magpies
Premier B - Southern Tuis
Southern Ravens, Southern Crows, and Southern Robins are in the Senior grades.
Southern Men – Entered into the men’s competition
What your club provides:
Southern provides great coaching, and a fun and welcoming environment with an emphasis on enjoyment. We have a solid base of returning players and coaches and you'll often see ex-players on the sideline supporting our teams.
