Eastbourne Junior Cricket Club (2022 / 2023)


Girls and boys from Year 0 to Year 8 are welcome and encouraged to play cricket whether or not they have played previously.  Our aim is to provide cricket for all children who wish to play.

Registrations for all but Superstar Cricket will close on the 13th October 2022 to ensure we can get the teams registraed with Cricket Wellington. Superstar Cricket registrations will remain open until the end of December.


Subscriptions (including team photo) for the 2022/23 season are as follows:

One Child            Friday evening Superstar Academy (Ages 3-6) - $60 

One Child            Year 2, 3 and 4 - $85

One Child            Year 5, 6 and 7 - $100

One Child            Year 8 - $50 

Note: All fees must be paid in full prior to season commencement. Years relate to school year your child is in at October 2022.  Subs vary according to the costs for the club to enter the various grades

Please be aware that the club always needs volunteers to assist with running the club, be it coaching and managing teams, or assisting on the committee. This is a very rewarding experience, and Cricket Wellington runs excellent cricket coaching sessions and there is also good support within the club.

Super Star Friday Night Cricket (Age 3-6)

Starts Friday 11th November 2022 - 0530 - 0620 Followed by BBQ.  A t-shirt, cap and photo is included. In the interest of sustainability those that want a Superstar Cricket cricket pack can contact one of the coaches for an extra $40 at the start of the season.

Note - For those parents with children in Year 2 at October 2022, you have the option to choose between Super Star Cricket on a Friday Night or Saturday Morning Dual Pitch.

Saturday Dual Pitch - Year 2 or 3

Saturday Morning Dual Pitch Cricket for School Year 2 and 3.  This relates to the school year in at October 2022. For more information about how dual pitch works click here

If your child is in Year 1 and is wanting to play games rather than do Super Start drills then please do not hesitate to register them.

Saturday Soft Ball Cricket - Year 4

Soft Ball cricket is the step between Dual Pitch and hard ball cricket and is played on a Saturday morning.  This is for Year 4 at October 2022.

Saturday Hard Ball Cricket - Year 5, 6 and 7

Hard Ball cricket for Year 5, 6 and 7 at October 2022.

Saturday Hard Ball Cricket - Year 8

Saturday morning cricket for Year 8, at October 2022.  Year 8 play for the first half of the season only.

The club is always looking for sponsors or support for our Junior Teams.

We offer naming rights for individual teams for the season; your companies name will appear on each weeks draw throughout the season. The draw is sent out to all across the Wellington Cricket Region.
