I'M NEW TO SOFTBALL?
Never played before, no worries. There are grades which cater to all skill levels from beginner to competitive for those aged 4 years old and up. All are welcome to come and Give T-Ball/Softball a Go.
PROOF OF AGE
New players in restricted grades will need to provide proof of their date of birth to Auckland Softball Association (ASA). Any of the following will suffice; current passport, student id, photo driver’s license, original or certified birth certificate, a signed letter from the player’s school principal or employer stating date of birth.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Click on the Register Here tab and complete all the required fields to Register with Eden Roskill Softball Club.
CAN I REGISTER A TEAM?
Definitely. You are most welcome to register as an individual or enter a whole team. ERSC is also able to provide a coach for your team if required.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO JOIN?

WHO WILL BE MY COACH/MANAGER?
We rely on volunteers to coach and manage our teams. If you wish to volunteer as a coach, manager, umpire or scorer this season please contact our Club Secretary on 027 4080131 or email us at e[email protected]

WHEN IS TRAINING?
Training start dates are at the coaches discretion and will usually begin around mid-August to late September.
ERSC is aware there is a transition period from Winter Sports to Summer and is happy to cater to those with winter commitments.
Training may be cancelled due to wet weather. Your coach/manager will let you know your training time(s), day(s) and if there are any cancellations.

WHEN IS THE SOFTBALL SEASON ?
October - March
Premier, Premier Reserve and Under 19 teams begin early October. All other Junior and Senior grades begin the 1st Saturday after Labour weekend unless advised otherwise.

WHEN ARE GAMES?
Most games are played on a Saturday. Please note teams from Under 13 and up may have a double header, playing two games on a Saturday and/or a catch up game through the week. Your coach/manager will let you know if you have a double header or week day game.
T-Ball and Rookie Sox Under 6s - Under 10s
Saturday Morning from 9:00am
Under 11s - Under 17s
Saturday Morning from 9:00am-11:30am
Senior Open/Social Grades
Saturday from 1:30pm-5:30pm

CANCELLATIONS
Games will usually be cancelled if it is raining. Your coach/manager will contact you to confirm any cancellations. Alternatively, cancellations will be available through Newstalk ZB at 7:00am on Saturdays and/or the ASA website and Facebook page. We will also post all cancellations on the Eden Roskill Softball Facebook page.
