CLUB HISTORY

Eden Roskill Softball Club (ERSC) was established in 1943 and is based at War Memorial Park, Mt Roskill. We have been part of the Auckland softball landscape for over 70 years and are Auckland's oldest softball club.

The club's foundations were initiated by Mr Harry King and built around the local community, involving many families living in the immediate and surrounding areas over a long period of time. The demographic of the area has changed over time, but the "family essence'' that has helped build and maintain our club is evident by the number of members who reside outside of the area, yet continue to play, support and involve their own families today.

We have a rich and colourful history with many of our players having gained regional and national honours over a long period of time and continue to give back to our club in one form or another. We continue to encourage and involve the local community in the game that we all love.....softball.

We welcome all new players and supporters and pride ourselves on being a family-friendly orientated club.
