2019/20 WINNER New Zealand Cricket Club of the Year
2018 WINNER Ebbett Tauranga Club of the Year – BOP Sports Awards
Formed in 1991, Geyser City Sports & Cultural Club Inc. (Geyser), has been a regular feature of the Rotorua Reserve Grade cricket fraternity ever since, and is above all else a well organised and maintained club with extensive member loyalty.
In 2015, fresh from winning the Rotorua Reserve Grade Cricket competition, Geyser decided to set a new direction for its future, not only with larger targets in mind, but also with concern for the declining state of local cricket in Rotorua.
This direction is gaining momentum with a team of passionate, organised, future-focused individuals, collectively striving to plan and provide for top quality cricketing experiences for all ages and stages.
VISION
"To establish Geyser as a pillar of Bay of Plenty Cricket, with a clear and demonstrable pathway for cricketers of all ages, genders and cultures."
