At Geyser Sports & Cultural Club we'd love to have as many people lend a hand as possible and would be grateful for any time you can give to our club! We understand that sometimes you want to help, but can't commit to hours of volunteer work, or late-night committee meetings. So, we have created this structure to help get more people on board with less pressure and time commitments. If you see a role that you'd like to take on for the season we'd LOVE to hear from you - get in touch with us as soon as you're ready. All the roles outside of the 'executive' committee are filled at the exec committee's discretion and can be filled at any time throughout the year, so don't wait to be nominated at the next AGM, let us know today if you're interested!

The FUNDING COORDINATOR, FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR, SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER, MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR, and COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER are currently covered by our paid Club Administrator.

- Can I fill more than one role? Absolutely!!
- Do I have to attend committee meetings if I take on a role? Roles marked with a ^ are regarded as a general committee member, but meeting attendance is optional. Roles marked with a * are not classed as committee members and are not required to attend committee meetings.
- Do I have to be nominated or asked to fill a role? Nope, if you're interested in helping out let us know! If a role is vacant and our exec committee agree you'll be a good fit, then the role is all yours!
- Is there a job description available so I know what I'm getting myself into? We're currently working on these as the roles evolve, however if you're interested to know more about the role and what it looks like please email admin@geysercricket.co.nz and we'll give you the low down.
- Do all the roles have to be filled? No, some roles may stay vacant until someone is available to fulfil them.
- I want to help out but I have an idea for a new role that could help the club. Is there room for me to join the team? Yes! Get in touch and tell us about it, we'd love to know more.
- When are committee meetings? Generally speaking we hold them on the second Tuesday of every month.
