2026 Programme Structure & Preview
The Hibiscus Bays Girls Talent Development Programme (GTDP) provides a progressive, year-round pathway structured specifically for local female youth players. Operating as a unified partnership between Hibiscus Coast AFC and East Coast Bays AFC, the programme delivers a structured training and competition environment designed to support technical, tactical, and personal growth.
Pathway Structure
Our integrated development framework spans junior and youth age groups to guarantee clear progression tiers:
Junior Girls Skills Development Programme (Ages 10–11): Launched by each home club to reinforce core mechanical movement, basic ball control, and spatial awareness in a supportive learning environment.
Girls Pre-TDP (Ages 12–13): The bridging tier linking both clubs’ to combined training environment in Term 2 and Term 3, emphasizing technical refinement and tactical understanding.
Girls Talent Development Programme (Ages 14–16):
High-Level Outcomes: Developing graduates who progress as lifelong participants in the sport, utilise football as a vehicle for global life opportunities, and are equipped with the leadership traits required to give back to the New Zealand football ecosystem.
Performance Goals: Graduating individual players who compete at the senior levels of national competition (New Zealand Football, Oceania Football Confederation, and FIFA), and become influential figures within the New Zealand National Team frameworks.
Women's Performance Football / First Team: Progression for players graduating from the GTDP framework into the highest senior football environment
