Ollie Hawkins Reappointed as Men’s First Team Head Coach for 2027
Halswell United AFC is pleased to confirm the reappointment of Ollie Hawkins as Men’s First Team Head Coach for the 2027 season, as the club prepares for the newly formatted Southern League.
OFC A License* Coach Ollie and his coaching team will continue to lead the Men’s First Team into an exciting new chapter for the club. Having consistently competed across all competitions over the past two seasons, Halswell United enters this next phase with confidence and a clear ambition to compete at the next level.
Reflecting on the season ahead, Ollie said:
“We are excited about the challenge of Southern League football next season. Consistently competing in all competitions over the last two years has put us in a good position. Now it’s time to go and compete in this new league — a league where this club belongs. We understand how important a season lies ahead.”
Pre-Season 2027
Preparations for the new season will begin at Halswell Domain on the following dates:
Time: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm Venue: Halswell Domain
With preparations underway, the club will look to further strengthen the squad over the summer. We welcome ambitious players from across the region who are keen to be part of our environment and contribute to the continued progress of Halswell United AFC.
