After a strong and well-deserved win over NW United at the weekend, the girls quickly turn their attention to Tuesday night as we face a strong UC 2nd XI side in our catch-up fixture.
The team is currently in great form, having put together two strong wins in a row, and they’ll be looking to make it three on the bounce. The confidence within the group is high, but we know we’ll need to bring the same intensity, discipline, and determination that has got us these results if we’re going to come away with another positive result.
It’s certainly a busy period for the group, with UC 2nd XI again on the schedule in just two weeks’ time, before we face the league champions, Ferrymead Bays, this coming weekend. Three challenging fixtures in a short space of time will test the squad, but the girls are confident, prepared, and ready to embrace whatever challenges come their way.
With just three fixtures remaining, the goal is clear: maximum points. We want to finish the season strongly, continue building momentum, and show the progress this group has made throughout the year.
Tuesday night is another opportunity to put that progress on display. We know UC will be a tough opponent, but we’re ready for the challenge and excited to see what the girls can produce.
Get down to English Park and get behind the girls as we go in search of three wins in a row!
NEXT GAME: v Ferrymead Bays 12.00pm Sat 22nd August at The Nest Round 19
