HBPB SWIMMING BOARD
The Hawke's Bay Poverty Bay (HBPB) Swimming Board provides the governance and strategic leadership for swimming across our region. Working in partnership with our clubs and Swimming New Zealand, the Board is committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and sustainable future for our sport.
Board members are elected by our member clubs and typically serve a three-year term. Together, they provide oversight of the organisation, set the strategic direction, and ensure HBPB Swimming continues to support the needs of swimmers, clubs, coaches, officials, and volunteers throughout the region.
The Board is responsible for developing and monitoring the Strategic Plan and Annual Plan, ensuring that our programmes, events, and initiatives align with our vision and deliver value to our members.

Keith provides strategic leadership to the Board and works closely with member clubs and key stakeholders to support the continued growth and development of swimming across the Hawke's Bay and Poverty Bay region.

Amanda supports the Chair and contributes to the governance and strategic direction of HBPB Swimming, with a strong focus on strengthening clubs and encouraging participation across all levels of the sport.

Kristine serves as HBPB Swimming's Member Protection Officer, providing an independent point of contact for member protection matters. She is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone involved in our sport.

Ria brings valuable experience and insight to the Board, helping guide the organisation's strategic direction and supporting the ongoing development of swimming throughout the region.
Our Board works collaboratively to build strong clubs, support coaches, officials and volunteers, promote participation, and create opportunities for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Guided by our Strategic Plan, we are committed to ensuring swimming remains a safe, welcoming, and rewarding sport for everyone in Hawke's Bay and Poverty Bay.
