CALENDAR AND EVENTS
Swim meets are the heartbeat of competitive swimming. They give athletes the chance to challenge themselves, build confidence, and celebrate their progress in the pool.
Local interclub meets are friendly, supportive events that help swimmers gain race experience, develop skills, and enjoy the team spirit that makes our sport special.
Regional meets bring together top swimmers from across Hawke’s Bay and Poverty Bay, offering exciting competition and the chance to qualify for national events. All times swum by swimmers in the qualification period are accepted as entry times.
At the highest level, national championships showcase New Zealand’s best swimmers, inspiring excellence and rewarding dedication. Qualifying swims must be swum at meets that are approved (fully officiated).
Every meet matters — from local to national level, they all help our swimmers grow, connect, and achieve their goals.
