Swim Meets – Where Swimmers Grow and Shine

Swim meets are the heartbeat of competitive swimming. They give athletes the chance to challenge themselves, build confidence, and celebrate their progress in the pool.

Club Meets/Club Nites

Club-level racing events for club members only, open to swimmers of all membership types. A fun, relaxed opportunity to try racing, practise race skills, build confidence and enjoy the experience of competition in a supportive club environment.

Interclub Meets

Local interclub meets are friendly, supportive events that help swimmers gain race experience, develop skills, and enjoy the team spirit that makes our sport special. Swimmers must have a competitive swimmer membership to participate.

Regional Championships

Regional championships bring together tcompetitive swimmers from across Hawke’s Bay and Poverty Bay, offering exciting competition and the chance to qualify for national events. Regional titles, medals, ribbons and individual trophies are awarded, alongside team trophies recognising the combined performances of club swimmers.

National Championships

At the highest level, national championships showcase New Zealand’s best swimmers, inspiring excellence and rewarding dedication. Qualifying swims must be swum at meets that are approved (fully officiated).

Every meet matters — from local to national level, they all help our swimmers grow, connect, and achieve their goals.
