Fun, Confidence & Development Through Football

Coast Juniors is Hibiscus Coast AFC’s junior football programme for young players. Grades 8 and 9 are designed to provide a positive, age-appropriate football experience where players can enjoy the game, develop skills, and feel confident being part of a team.

Our approach aligns with NZ Football’s Whole of Football 2.0, putting enjoyment and long-term development first.

What's New for the 2026 Season

This year, we have partnered with Warkworth and Greenhithe to enhance our Saturday game days!

  • Home & Away Fixtures: Teams will have the exciting opportunity to play games away at their venues, as well as welcoming their teams to compete right here at Stanmore Bay.

  • A Taste of Next-Level Football: This exciting initiative gives players and parents a brand-new experience, perfectly prepping them as they transition to older grades with home and away fixtures every week.

2026 Winter Season

Game Times

  • ⚽ Game 1: 8:50 am
  • ⚽ Game 2: 9:10 am
  • ⚽ Game 3: 9:30 am

Coach & Team Arrival

We recommend all coaches, players and families arrive between 8:00 am and 8:20 am. This allows time to:

  • Set up equipment and fields.
  • Welcome players and organise teams.
  • Complete a short warm-up and training activity before the first game.
  • Ensure games can start on time.

Cost

  • $200 for the full Winter Season (Terms 2 & 3).
  • Term 3 only: $120.

Registrations

Players are welcome to join at any time throughout the season.

What is Coast Juniors?

Coast Juniors supports players as they learn and grow through football in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. The focus is on helping children build confidence, make friends, and enjoy being active — regardless of previous football experience.

Both Grade 8 and Grade 9 focus on:

Thank you for arriving early and helping create a fun, organised environment for all our young players. Arriving early gives coaches time to organise teams, complete a warm-up, and ensure everyone is ready for an exciting morning of football.
