HSOB Rugby Football Club AKA the Polar Bears is one of the biggest and most successful clubs in Christchurch and New Zealand.

We have produced 30 all blacks.  

We are lucky enough to have had former All Blacks Aaron Mauger, Reuben Thorne, Richard Loe and Graeme Bachop involved as resource coaches which are huge assets and are available to all teams.

We cater for all playing abilities from Division One to Colts Premier to Social rugby to Women’s rugby. We have a team in every grade and are extremely competitive.

Our strength isn’t just on the field however. As a club we have partnerships with both recruiting and letting agencies so we can also assist in finding you a job and accommodation.
