INTRODUCTION
The Huia Softball Club is the largest in Manawatu but is always looking for ways to improve and grow.
Huia Softball has entered eight teams into the juniors this year.

- Under 7 Jaguars (Coach Lockie)
- Under 7 Leopards (Coach Troy)
- Under 9 Panthers (Coach Adam)
- Under 11 Pumas (Coach James)
- Under 13 Scouts (Coach Kaine and Coach Scott)
- Under 16 Rangers (Coach Brendon)

SEASON INFORMATION
The season kicks off on the 28th of October 2023, with all games being held at Colquhoun Park.
The last game before Xmas is the 9th of December 2023 and we start back on the 17th of February.
Finals for the 23/24 season will be played on the 23rd of March.
Manawatu Softball Association's (MSA) website and Facebook page have a lot of good information and is updated regularly throughout the season.

TEE BALL U5/U7/U9
We have great numbers for all our Tee Ball teams, and thank you for registering early. We are very lucky to have great coaches for all three of our tee-ball teams with years of experience. Game times are the same time every week, and we will post diamond numbers and information on the Huia Facebook page.
Fees per player for the season are:
Under 5 $20
- The only thing you will need to bring is the kids and a warm coffee.
Under 7 $30
- The only thing you will need to bring is the kids and great support.
Under 9 $40
- There can be some big hitters and we throw to 1st base, so a glove would be helpful but not compulsory.
SOFTBALL U11/U13/U16
We have good numbers for all our teams.
Huia provides the playing tops, but you will need to sort the pants.
Fees per player for the season are:
Under 11 $50
- Black pants/shorts are needed for the under-11 grade.
- A glove is needed (we have a few in gear bag, first in first serve)
- All other gear is supplied
Under 13 $60
- Black pants/knickers are needed for the under-13 grade.
- Your own glove is needed.
- All other gear is supplied
Under 16 $70
- White pants/knickers are needed for the under-16 grade.
- Your own glove is needed
- All other gear is supplied

We would like all fees paid before the Xmas break to allow us to run some development clinics in the new year, so please get on to this as soon as possible.
You can pay in smaller amounts to make it more manageable if you wish
