INTRODUCTION
The Huia Softball Club is the largest in Manawatu but is always looking for ways to improve and grow.
Huia Softball has entered five teams into the seniors this year.

- Reserve Mens - Warriors
- Premier Mens - Chiefs

SEASON INFORMATION
The season kicks off on the 12th of October 2023 for Prem Men and the 14th for the rest of us. All games are being held at Colquhoun Park.
The last game before Xmas is the 9th of December 2023, and we start back on the 27th of January (25th Prem Men's).
Finals for the 23/24 season will be played on the 23rd of March.
Manawatu Softball Association's (MSA) website and Facebook page have a lot of good information and is updated regularly throughout the season.

Reserve WomensTigers
We have a very good balance of new players as well as experienced players. Games are played on Saturdays at 2.30 pm.
Details have been passed to the team manager, and you should be contacted very soon.
Fees per player for the season are $130.
You will need black pants or shorts and your own gloves.
Senior Men Toa
We have good numbers for our social team down on Diamonds 5 and 6.
The bulk of the team is returning from last year with the goal of winning the two trophies on offer.
Fees per player for the season are $120.
You will need black pants or shorts and your own gloves.
Reserve Mens Braves
A second team in the reserve grade is new for Huia, but we have the players to fill it.
The Braves have a fun philosophy of giving everyone a go and swinging for the fences.
They are a social team with a good competitive streak in them.
White knickers/pants are needed.
Fees for the Reserve grade teams are $130
Reserve Mens Warriors
Last year's reserve grade winners and strong favourites to do it again.
There is a great balance of old heads and Huia's future in this team.

Premier Mens Chiefs
This team has a great balance of old heads and Huia's future in this team.

We would like all fees paid before the Xmas break to allow us to run some development clinics in the new year, so please get on to this as soon as possible.
You can pay in smaller amounts to make it more manageable if you wish
