Saints Softball Club Tournaments 

 We strongly promote local softball by conducting two annual tournaments catering for our Premier Women and emerging Under 19 / Premier Two Women. Both tournaments attract the top teams in the Hutt Valley and Wellington along with visiting teams from other parts of the country. On previous occasions we have hosted the Australian Women’s National Team, Lady Hearts Team from Illinois, USA and Sonoda Women’s University Team from Osaka, Japan. We have also hosted players within our club teams from the Czech Republic, Australia, Canada and USA.


  • The 2025 Premier 1 Women’s Tournament to be held 1st -2nd  November 2025 at Fraser Park will be the 31st anniversary of this tournament which was named in honour of Saints Softball Club stalwart Benny Luke who passed in 2006 at the age of 47.  


  • The 2026 Premier 2 / U19 Women’s Tournament to be held 25th January 2026 at Fraser Park will be the 26th anniversary of this tournament which was named in honour of Saints Softball Club supporter Neville Luke, the husband of Benny Luke. Neville passed in 1999 also at the age of 47
