The Karori West Normal School netball club is run by parent volunteers.

Our Year 3 - 8 teams play on Saturdays during school terms 2 & 3. 

Each year our Year 1 and 2 students can participate in the Future Ferns programme to get their first taste of netball. This is a free programme and runs over two weekends in August.

All games are played at the Altum School netball courts (previously Cardinal McKeefrey School).

At the end of each season we acknowledge our players, coaches and managers during an end of year event. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Each year, there are some pre-season opportunities for students and coaches. Please contact the KWNS email address if you are interested.

KWNS has places for two year 8 students to train as umpires through the Kiwi Whistler programme. This consists of a six-week course pre-season, then game time over the season to practically apply their skills. Applications open at the end of term 4 or the beginning of term 1. 

Year 7 and 8 students can participate in a development programme. This is usually run over four Sundays at the beginning of the season. Registrations are at the end of Term 1.

Year 5-8 coaches can attend a one-off coaching course run by Wellington West Netball.
