We have been around since 1959. Originally known as KartSport Auckland, the clubrooms and circuit was situated at Rosebank Domain, Avondale.

In December 2025, known then as KartSport Auckland, we relocated to our new track at Sir Colin Giltrap Raceway, Colin Dale Park, Prices Road. Wiri.

On 18 March 2026, KartSport Mt Wellington amalgamated with KartSport Auckland-Mt Wellington to become KartSport Auckland-Mt Wellington Inc.

At the KartSport NZ AGM in August 2026 KartSport NZ rebranded to Karting NZ, with all the affiliated clubs following, we are now proudly, Karting Auckland Mt Wellington.

While our name may have changed throughout the years, the same passion and talent remains in our club, something we are very proud of.

Racing takes place allocated Sunday's throughout the year (timetable here). Karting Auckland Mt Wellington is affiliated to Kartsport New Zealand, which governs the rules of racing and safety regulations of these meetings.

The Club offers the very best of facilities with a 1,270-metre track, large pit area, good parking and great spectator areas. Karting Auckland Mt Wellington is a clock-wise- track with speeds of well over 100km/h for some classes.
