Sir Colin Giltrap Raceway has been reopenned for practice today, Friday 17 April 2026. The line marking is complete to a point the track can be reopenned.
Pathway to Karting
Ever wondered what it's like to race a real competition kart? Our Pathway to Kartingexperience is the perfect introduction to the exciting world of kart racing. This isn’t just a ride or a hire kart session – it’s your chance to experience genuine club-level karting.
Many of the world’s top racing drivers – including F1 champions – started their journey in karts. Your first lap could be the beginning of yours
Held 6-8 weekly (weather permitting), this program is designed for people who have visited one of our club days and want to take the next step into the sport.

Cost: $300
Your Pathway to Karting experience includes:
- An introduction to karting, including club membership, race day formats, and the costs involved
- Use of one of our club race karts
- All required safety equipment – helmet, racesuit, gloves
- Comprehensive safety briefing
- 3x 8-10minute sessions, spread across approximately 60minutes
- Learn from our experienced club members who can assist you on your pathway
Karts Available
We have karts available for drivers:
- Cadet Rok – Ages 6–10
- Vortex Mini Rok – Ages 9–13
- Rotax Max – Ages 14+
The indemnity form must be completed before participating – this is sent once you have booked in.
