2026 Game Day Info 

Premier & Senior Netball 

The season starts on 18 April 2026 and ends on 22 August 2026, with a 16 game season for all grades this year.
Games are played on the following dates:   
April:      18th , 27th 
May:       2nd, 3rd, 9th, 16th, 23rd
June:     6th, 13th
July:       18th, 25th, 26th
August:  1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd.

There are two double header weekends on 2nd/3rd May and 25th/26th July. This means that players will need to be avaliable for a game on both Saturday and Sunday those weekends.

Umpire Duty:
Each team must provide 2 umpires each week to either umpire or be on standby. Failure to provide results in penalties to the team by Dunedin Netball. 

Public Holidays & Uni Breaks

Dunedin Netball does not usually schedule games during public holiday weekends or university breaks. However, in 2026, there will be games during ANZAC Weekend. These will be played on Monday, 27th April, which is the observed Public Holiday.

There will be no netball on the following Saturdays: 

  • 30 May - King's Birthday Weekend 
  • 20 June - 11 July- Break for Uni Holidays

2026 Club Info 

Club Rooms:

We continue to be associated with the Alhambra Union Rugby Club who have wonderful clubrooms open on Saturdays after games. Their club rooms are conveniently located on Great King Street, at the North Ground opposite the University's main entrance. 

Uniforms:

You will be issued a uniform once you pay your fees. These are to be returned at the end of the season.

  • Macandrew Ruby  - Senior 4/5

2026 Training Info 

During the season, our A & B teams train every Thursday evening, and all other teams train every Tuesday evening.

All teams train at the Edgar Centre. Entry to the Edgar Centre for each training is $5, and this cost is not included in your fees. A Concession card can be purchased from the Edgar Centre to reduce this cost.

Our A Team train on Thursdays, 7:00PM - 8:30PM

Our B Team train on Thursdays, 6:30PM - 7:30PM

Our Navy, Blue, White & Gold Teams train on Tuesday, 6.30PM - 7.30PM

Our Ruby Team train on Monday, 6.30PM - 7.30PM (plus the odd Wednesday)
