About Us: 

Macandrew Netball is dedicated to netball for all players at all levels. We welcome new and returning players every year, and aim to provide top-level and enthusiastic coaches. 

The Club encourages players to get involved in coaching and umpiring to support and develop Dunedin Netball. We actively encourage our teams to support each other both on and off the court. 

We have a great partnership with MTF Finance Dunedin, and we are looking forward to continuing this over the coming seasons. We debuted our BRAND NEW dresses in 2019, supplied by our wonderful sponsor.  

Why Macandrew? 

- We have a diverse player base, and welcome all new players - of all ages and levels! 

- We provide an energetic, passionate, welcoming and social club that holds events throughout the season. In 2023 we are excited to be affiliated with Alhambra-Union Rugby Club who have a great club rooms with mens and womens rugby teams, a stocked bar, handy location and amazing social scene.

- We encourage the support of family and friends on the sideline, and we have a great sideline presence from all of our teams.

- We aim to develop every player and coach whilst providing a fun and enthusiastic netball environment.

- Our players form valuable friendships and connections, and you will often find our girls still playing together at social netball over the off-season and forming their own teams for the summer months. 

- Macandrew Netball Club is one of the oldest clubs competing in the Dunedin competition.

- We provide development opportunities for all of our coaches, and contribute to fee payments for player coaches. 

- Our current players and coaches form the majority of our committee, so we are able to keep in close contact with all of our teams. 

- We usually have 6-7 teams, and we are strongly committed to finding a place in a team for all trialists, as well as for players that were unable to attend trials.  

Grades you compete in:

We have teams in Premier C, and Senior 1-3 for the 2024 season.
