About Us

Why Macandrew? 

At Macandrew, we’re all about netball for everyone. Whether you’ve been playing since you could walk or you’re picking up a bib for the first time in years, we focus on making sure every player feels at home.

We’re a player-led club, with most of our committee members out on the court playing or coaching on the sidelines every Saturday, so we’re always in the loop with what our teams actually need. We also love seeing our members grow; if you’re keen to try your hand at coaching or umpiring, we’ve got your back with the right support and development.

Our partnership with the Alhambra-Union Rugby Club gives us a fantastic "home base" for socialising. You’ll often find our teams hanging out there or grabbing a drink after games at the North Ground. For us, the friendships made off the court are just as important as the work put in on it; most of our players end up forming their own social teams together over the summer months, too.

What to Expect

• A team for you: We usually field 5–7 teams. From competitive grades to social squads, we’re committed to finding a place for every player who wants to get on court.

• Solid Coaching: We aim to provide energetic, passionate coaches for all our teams to help you develop your game.

• The Social Side: Between our handy clubroom location and a busy social calendar, there is always something happening off the court.

• A Great Crew: We’re a diverse mix of students and professionals. You’ll find a strong sideline presence at our games, with friends and family always welcome to join the Macandrew community.

• Quality Gear: Thanks to our awesome partnership with MTF Finance Dunedin, our players hit the court in high-quality kit every season.

Grades you compete in:

We have teams in Premier C, and Senior 1-5 for the 2026 season.
