Maniototo Arena Terms and Conditions

Casual User $15 (Must register online and a combination code given at time of booking)
Member key $120/year.
Clinic attendee Ground Fee Non-PC member $10/horse/day (must fill out online registration form & pay PC directly)
Yellow tagged helmets must be worn at all time while mounted in all arenas
Yards are available for use. Please leave them tidy and close chains on all yards.
We also hire our arena to Instructors, trainers & groups. They must assign an organizer/or book the arena themselves via online booking system for their lessons and insure everyone riding has signed our disclaimer (this only needs done once- once you have signed you don't need to sign again, this can be done online or a printed copy can be made available to all instructors for people to sign on the day and returned to arena coordinator-contact info above).
-Please leave the grounds as you find them, pick up any manure & hay and take to muck heap.
-Please check you have locked up behind you.
-Riders under 18yrs of Age must be accompanied by someone over 18yrs old.
-Dogs are permitted on the grounds but must be on a leash during Pony Club rallies and lessons and are the responsibility of their owner/handler.
-Riders using the Cross country fences/wire jump in the car park area/back paddock must wear an approved back protector, rider discretion must be used when jumping these as to if they are safe and in a safe area.
-Riders/trainers/instructors jumping must use the approved stands with the break away cups when building spread fences/oxers-they are to be used for the back rail of these fences and also the middle stand for the middle rail for a triple bar fence-regardless of height, these are currently in the container (white stands) and must be put back away after use, we are working on getting some more of these.
-Maniototo PC are not responsible for other persons/animals using the facilities, Maniototo PC are not responsible for ground conditions or damage caused to the grounds or gear/fences/structures by other users or animals.
-Our Pony Club is guided by NZPCA Rules and regulations as an NZPCA branch regarding Safety endorsements, regulations & requirements-therefore these are not the club nor its members personal opinions, anyone who abuses anyone in our club, any of our members/key holders will be banned as this will not be tolerated in any form be it verbally or written via any platform.
-By riding at the grounds the rider accepts that they, or their person responsible for them if under 18yrs had surveyed the facilities (and any obstacles such as Show jumps and or cross country fences) and ground conditions and understand that they are responsible for assessing the suitability of the ground conditions and construction and maintenance of the jumps/obstacles/fences before using them-any issues please notify our secreatary as soon as possible, Maniototo pony club reserves the right to request that riders or any other person using the grounds leave when a person is creating a dangerous situation, riding in a dangerous manner and/or where a person is mistreating a horse or acting irresponsibly
-Please report any damages/anything that needs attention to gear or grounds as soon as possible
-Please follow our FB Page -Friends of Maniototo Pony Club and our website for any updates re spraying, arena closures due to maintenance/harrowing, clinics and general arena information.
Maniototo Pony Club do not accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to riders, horses, owners, spectators, property, vehicles and their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever whilst using these facilities. Persons on the [remises or using the facilities do so at their own risk and Maniototo Pony Club will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss whilst using these grounds.
-Please note that is a condition of use of our arenas that you agree to our terms and conditions and liability disclaimer, by booking online you automatically accept and sign the liability disclaimer
-Please ensure that you have read and understand these conditions before completing your booking, you will be asked to tick a box/Sign below to acknowledge your agreement during the booking process.
