No. of Marchers:

  • Technical Drill: 7 to 10.
  • Review & Inspection: The number of marchers in the Review & Inspection must not be less than the number of marchers in the Quickstep/Compliments/Movements.
  • Display: 7 – 14 

Emphasis:

  • 50% Technical Drill and 50% Display – to be reflected in Judging System, Awards and Recognition 

Leader:            Out front, not individually judged.

Format:
  • Technical Drill to consist of a Review & Inspection, Compliments, Quickstep, Drills, 9 -11 Movements, March Off.
  • Display of 2 minutes 45 seconds to 3 minutes 30 seconds duration with requirements as set out in the Display Section of the Drills & Routines Criteria. For compliance purposes the Display must be performed with at least the minimum time of 2 minutes 45 seconds and not more than the maximum time of 3 minutes 30 seconds.”
  • A repeat or near repeat of the Technical Drill phase will not fulfil the requirements of the display performance criteria and therefore the team will be deemed to have not presented a display.
Phases:
  • May enter Technical Drill or Display, or both.
Judging:
  • Four Technical Drill and two Display judges.
Uniforms:
  • As per requirements set out in the Uniform Section of the Policy & Operations Manual (Technical).

Under 16 – March 17 paces, halt, mark time 2, (turning heads and eyes to the right on the completion of the 2nd beat of mark time), Leader must salute but it is optional for the whole team to salute, March 17 paces, halt, mark time 2, (turning heads and eyes to the front on the completion of the 2nd beat of mark time), proceed to side boundary where Marshal will direct you to your Coach/s.
