REGISTRATIONS FOR 2026

Registrations for all players wishing to play for Marian College have now closed.

Once initial payment has been made, full payment must be made by the Friday 22 May or arrangements in place for an automatic payment. This is to be paid into the Marian College school account with details below.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

Subscriptions for 2026 are:

Senior A/B team playing in the Senior 1 grade/Under 18 /Challenge on a Saturday at Nga Puna Wai and on a Wednesday: $370 per player

Under 18 teams (Yr 12 and 13 players) playing at Nga Puna Wai: $250 per player

Under 16 teams (Yr 11 players) playing at Nga Puna Wai: $250 per player

Year 10A playing in the Year 10 grade on a Saturday at Nga Puna Wai and on a Wednesday: $340 per player

Year 10B/C playing in the Year 10 grade on a Saturday at Nga Puna Wai

Year 9A playing in the Year 9 Grade on a Saturday at Pioneer and on a Wednesday: $300 per player

Year 9B/C/D playing in the Year 9 grade on a Saturday at Pioneer: $220 per player

For your information an approximate breakdown of the fees are as follows:

Approximately 80-90% goes towards fees payable to Netball NZ, Zone fees and Christchurch Netball. The remainder goes towards costs associated with school sport levies, uniforms (dresses, coaches coats), team bags, equipment such as balls, bibs, training gear, and administration costs. Please note we do not pay our coaches.

UNIFORMS

The cost of the playing dresses purchased and kept as their own by players who are new to the club is $100.

The compulsory required red socks are also available from the sport office. The cost of these is $20.

The club has also registered a plain navy polyprop that can now be worn on cold, wet days under player tops (for those playing outdoors). No other colours are permitted to be worn.

COMPETITION COMMENCES

The first day of competition for the grades is:

Senior A team - Saturday 25 April 2026

All other teams - Saturday 2 May 2026

WEDNESDAY NETBALL IN WINTER

The Senior A, B and Year 9A and 10A netball teams only will play in the weekly Wednesday netball schools competition. Wednesday sport begins on Wednesday 6 May (Week 3).
