Building on the current site at Memorial Park commenced in 1959.  Jack Wright and the Patete brothers voluntarily worked on the construction which was completed in 1961.  The clubrooms were officially opened by Father Moore. Originally there were no changing rooms so teams used the remains of the old grandstand which stood parallel to the number 2 ground.  In 1972 a bar was added to the clubrooms followed by changing rooms in 1978.  In 1980 the bar, kitchen and toilets were renovated.

In 1989 the Pioneer Rugby Club which was right next door to Marist moved out of their premises which prompted the club to buy Pioneer's goodwill and consolidated the exisiting rugby club.

In 1992 the new Marist Sports Association clubrooms were opened and consisted of 300 square metres of lounge, two changing rooms, toilets, a much larger bar, kitchen and an office.
