Registration 2026/2027 Season Registrations open 20 October 2026

Registration for the 2026/2027 season covers both Term 4 2026 and Term 1 2027.

Registration Fees:

  • Mini Club | Ages 2–5 $45
  • 6+ Athletics | Ages 6–14 $65

These fees cover both Term 4 2026 and Term 1 2027.

Family discounts are available for families registering three or more children.

Payment plans are also available. Please contact the committee if you would like to arrange a payment plan.

Club Nights

All club nights are held at the Matamata Domain.

  • Mini Club | Ages 2–5 5:30pm–6:05pm
  • 6+ Agility and Development Session with Ethan 5:30pm–6:05pm
  • Seniors Athletics | Ages 6–14 6:10pm–7:15pm

The 6+ Agility and Development Session is optional and included in registration at no additional cost. The session focuses on strength and agility, stamina, running drills and athletic development.

Payment and Age Flashes

Registration fees must be paid prior to your child’s first club night, unless alternative payment arrangements have been made with the committee.

Age flashes will be provided once payment has been received.

Age flashes must be worn on all club nights. This allows athletes to be easily identified within their age groups and helps our coaches and student leaders organise activities.

NEW: Term 1 2027 Registration

We understand that family schedules change and activities can overlap throughout the year, particularly for our Mini Club families.

For the 2026/2027 season, we will reopen registrations for Term 1 2027 to give families another opportunity to join Matamata Athletic Club.

Term 1 2027 registration fees will be:

  • Mini Club | Ages 2–5 $45
  • 6+ Athletics | Ages 6–14 $65

Families registering for the full 2026/2027 season in Term 4 do not need to register again for Term 1.

Refer a Friend – Ages 10+

We would love to see more athletes aged 10–14 joining our club.

To encourage our older age groups, we are introducing our “Refer a Friend”initiative.

Refer a friend aged 10 or over to Matamata Athletic Club and both athletes will receive $5 off their registration. It is a great opportunity to bring a friend along, try something new and enjoy athletics together. Ready to Register? Registrations open 20 October 2026.
