We are now a Social Club

In the 2024/2025 Season, the Club's Committee made the difficult decision to not affiliate with Athletics NZ.  This was due to financial reasons, lack of volunteers & the lack of athletes attending competition events.

What does this mean for our athletes?  Athletes wanting to attend regional & or national Competition Events like Ribbon Days, Colgate Games, WaiBop Children's Champs etc, will need to register & attend a club that is affiliated with Athletics NZ.

Club Nights, events will not be measured, timed or recorded & Prize Giving will look a bit different.  We do run mini Ribbon Nights, with every athlete leaving with a ribbon & we have introduced more team events & games.

We hope you understand that this change, which the Committee did not take lightly, was made with our members & volunteers in mind.
