Melville Rugby & Sports Club was established in 1959, and celebrated its 50th jubilee in 2009.
We are a Premier Club, with our Premier A team taking the Haswell Catley trophy three times, in 1979, 1981, and most recently in 2016.
We are hoping to field five senior rugby teams in 2026, Premier A & B, Colts, Womens, and Presidents - known as the Melville Mustangs.
Our Womens team have been in the premier competition for 8 seasons, and have won 4 of those seasons.
We also boast several netball teams, which play at various levels of the Hamilton Netball competition.
