Set on the western side of the Waikato River, Mercer Rowing Club has easy access to excellent training water both up and down stream. Established in 1909, our proud rowing tradition has continuously produced notable regional and international representatives. 
 
Our main goal is to introduce our young people to rowing and encourage them to pursue the sport as far as their will and determination will take them. We are a non-profit, fully volunteer club, and our catchment covers the wider Franklin area.
