Pennant Champions - Division 3

Our Men’s Pennants Team were in the Finals day of Wellington winners v Hutt Valley winners.

Our Division 3 team have won the Bowls Wellington Division Three and today by beating Naenae, Hutt Valley’s Division Three winners  

We are the Bowls Wellington Division Three Champions.

Team 1 – Rob Ashton, Keith Hastings, Hugh Galbraith, Mike McAuley won 17/10.

Team 2 – Brent Stubbins, David Shedlock, Kevin Newson, Michael Andrews won 28/3.

Congratulations gentlemen, we are so proud of your season.

You  have now won the right for promotion to Division Two next season. 

A great day for Miramar.

Men"s Club Singles

Congatulations to Dave Allen who today won the club singles for the 3rd year in a row, well done Dave. 

Also more results from yesterday;

Any Combo Quad 242 Pairs – Kevin Lummis and Denise Lummis – lost to a slick Upper Hutt team from the other section but this team fought back bravely.

Three bowls Pairs – loss 21-10 Nick Dagg & Dayle Jackson the same fighting spirit but just could not make the catch up necessary.

Others who have helped these team to the Finals playoff are – Wendy Parker, David Jackson, Suzanne Green  

Congratulations to all over the season. - the Division One Men’s Team have maintained their position in This Division for next season.

The Division Two ladies team is wating on the result of a game and are on the cusp of promotion.

Memorable Moment for Miramar

Congratulations, what an amazing day for Miramar - our Division 4 Men's Interclub team played in the semi-finals this morning, winning 3-0 against Khandallah which earned them promotion into Division 3 next year, an awesome achievement.

Then the boys played the other semi-final winners Johnsonville and won all 3 games; Singles, Pairs and the Fours - to win the Division 4 title outright.

An outstanding day for the club, congratulations Division 4 Men: Mike, Graeme, Hugh, Dave, Jamie, Gregg and Jacko.

Thanks to Mark and Rob for Marking and a big thank you to all our club members who supported the team throughout the day.
