Fees for the 2026 season are:

Since 2022, Newlands RFC has proudly offered fee-free rugby for our Year 0/1 players. This initiative was introduced to help ease the financial pressures many families were facing during the uncertainty of COVID-19.

In 2025, we were thrilled to expand this initiative and make rugby free for all of our players. Thanks to the continued support of our sponsors and community, we are proud to confirm that we will once again be offering fee-free rugby for all players in the 2026 season.

Providing free access to sport removes financial barriers and creates equal opportunities for every child, regardless of their socio-economic background. Participation in sport enhances physical health, supports mental well-being, builds confidence, and develops important social skills. It also encourages teamwork, leadership, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging — strengthening not only our young players, but our wider community as well.
