Season Information

Ready to give rugby a go? Join the #GreenMachine community!

Although many of our 2026 teams are now full, we still welcome new players who want to come along, train with us, and get involved. It’s a great chance to learn the game, meet the coaches, and prepare for the 2027 season.

If your child is keen to try rugby—whether they’re brand new or returning—we’d love to see them at training.

Registrations (Years 0–8)

Registrations for 2026 remain open, but team placements are limited. New players are invited to register and attend training sessions even if a team spot isn’t immediately available.

  • Friday Night RipRugby - Non‑contact option for Years 3–8

Even if teams are full, players are welcome to join training sessions to learn the basics and get ready for next season.

New to Rugby?

No experience needed. We welcome beginners and do our best to place kids with friends.

Gear basics:

  • Boots optional for Rippa

  • Mouthguard recommended for all players and required for tackle

  • Coaches will guide families on any extra gear

We also run a community boot swap to help families access boots at no cost. Kids don’t need to bring a pair to take part — anyone is welcome to pick up a pair if we have their size. If you have outgrown boots to donate, feel free to bring them along.
