Where your NRF fees go

NRF is New Zealand's fastest-growing football region, and it's our job to make sure it happens sustainably for clubs by delivering our strategy.

Your support helps us deliver nearly 1,000 games a weekend in-season to our 41,800 playing members, including:

• Competition management, including junior festival weekends and Northland and Auckland Community Cup finals weekends
• Coach and referee development, including our Referee Development Plan
• Club licensing and accreditation

It also enables NRF to provide essential Club Support services like: 

• Governance and leadership guidance, and preparation for Incorporated Societies Act changes
• Support with large scale change programmes in 2026, including:
  • Whole of Football 2.0
  • National Registration System change from COMET to Sporty
  • Consultation on changes to National League
• Financial sustainability assistance
• Workforce development
• Advocacy with Councils and funders

Facility planning and support – eg our Auckland Facilities Plan

Your contribution powers these key programmes:

• Equity programmes like our Gender Equity Action Plan, Regional Women in Leadership workshops and the Gender Equity Charter
• Facilitating girls development programmes Go Girls, Fantails, and Kickin’ It
• Community programmes like our free South Auckland coaching clinics and Adapted Football programmes
