NZPF National Powerlifting Championships 2022

The NZ Powerlifting Championships 2022 will be held in Palmerston North between the 1-5 of August 2022. This event is expected to be our biggest event to date for a national event. Enter here: Click Here Entries close- 3 July 2022.

Commonwealth Powerlifting & Benchpress Championships 2022

We are excited to confirm this event which will be held from the 27th of November 2022- 4 December 2022 at our national stadium, Eden Park, Auckland, we have added 1 extra day to the original date. All nominations will be entered by nations through the Goodlift site by the national federation. Lifters need to apply for this event by filling in a form to compete internationally here: Click Here This will be submitted to the NZPF NEC to consider your selection for this event. The NEC has voted to allow a B team at this championship to allow more lifters to qualify.

Welcome to the Official New Zealand Powerlifting Federation Website

The NZPF is the official governing body for the running and development of powerlifting in New Zealand. The NZPF is comprised of a National Executive Committee (NEC). There are currently 6 regional powerlifting associations throughout New Zealand, each with it’s own committee and constitution.

While there are very few changes it is important that our competitors, coaches, officials and support personnel are aware of this information.
