Following the Extraordinary General Meeting held in May 2026, the membership year was unanimously voted to be changed to better align with the financial year and competition calendar. Moving forward, it will be as follows:
- 1st November 2026: Early-bird registration opens as usual but runs until January 31st 2028 (2 months shorter than usual, a period of 15 months)
- 1st April 2027: New membership season begins but runs only until January 31st 2028 (again 2 months less than usual, a period of 10 months)
- February 1st 2028: New membership season begins and ends January 31st 2029 (new membership year is fully in effect)
Registration fees will reflect the shortened periods of membership
The membership registrations form is available via each association at the beginning of each new membership year.
Please check your local association's registration form to find up to date fees.
The purpose of the early bird registration is to enable those who are new to our sport or are returning after they had ceased to be a member to compete.
To set records you must be a financial member for a minimum of 6 months. Once a Novice competitor has competed in one competition, you need to register to enable you to continue to compete.
