The Colgate Games are an important part of the sport of athletics and have been running for over 47 years.

The Colgate Games are held in January every year and are made up of two events, one in the North Island and one in the South Island. It’s the biggest athletics event for children, with the games attended by hundreds of athletes aged 7-14 years olds (as at 31st December 2025).

Any athlete from grade 7 to 14 is able to attend and compete in up to 5 events (plus relays), so we will be encouraging as many people as possible to join us at this major event.  Hopefully Onslow will be able to field a good contingent!  

Parents need to be register your children to attend these events.  There is a fee of $9.50 for each event entered.  Entries will close in early November.  No late entries are accepted so please make this a priority if you're planning to enter.
