ORA Coach Support Role
Coach Development continues to be a strategic theme for the Otago Rowing Association. To achieve the goals of that theme and to complement our existing Meridian Coach Scholarship programme we have, over the past two years, employed a Coach Mentor. We have received excellent feedback from clubs and coaches and we look to continue that momentum.
The ORA are again going to fund and contract a Coach Mentor/Support Person for our summer months. This role will involve being in active contact with coaches at all ORA Club/Schools, it will include being on the ground at our local regattas, attending two Twizel regattas and visiting our regions. The person would support our scholarship coaches and run coach workshops.
