This is a new award, donated by Kirimoana Pook and Gene Lutton

Manaakitanga Means hospitality, kindness, generosity, support - the process of showing respect, generosity and care for others.

The reason this Award was created was, I am a Registered Nurse and Manaakitanga means a lot personally and within my career. Being caring, showing kindness, being respectful on and off the diamond.

Geno is a great sportsman who has achieved a lot with his sporting career. He always shows kindness to others, generosity and his support to younger players.
