Gene Lutton Gene is a former national player for two countries. He was named in the Black Sox Team in 2001-2004, the NZ Maori Team in 2002 and the Samoan Team that played in the 2004 World Championships in Christchurch.
Gene has played for Hutt Valley and Wellington representative teams and clubs Miramar, Cardinals and now Porirua.
As a Wellington representative coach of U15 and U19 Boys and the Wellington Men’s NFC team, Gene will have some insight into the challenges faced by coaches in today’s environment.
Gene does currently help coach for ISA as well as PCU under 18 girls and still plays a premier level.
