Entry into the pre-comp programme is by invitation only. Entry into this programme doesn’t guarantee selection for the competitive programme.
Each year in June, identified recreational members will be invited to attend a formal testing session. If successful they may be given the opportunity to enter a developmental programme designed to provide focused skills development.
A gymnast’s progress in the developmental program will determine whether he/she is suitable for the precompetitive and competitive gymnastics programme.
Initial placement and subsequent advancement from one team level to the next will be determined by the Piako Gymnastics Coaching Staff.
