Welcome to SCOG’s 2024 netball season.

Hopefully you'll find all the information you need to sign up with SCOG for 2024 if not please ask us for further information. 

Netball will start on Saturday 27 April and finish on 31 August which is finals day.

We start straight into the first round of games (7 games from 27 April to 15 June) and second round (7 games from 22 June to 17 August) and the Finals Round (24 and 31 August). 

There will be no games on 1 June (King’s Birthday Weekend), 29 June (Matariki Weekend), and 13 July (first Saturday of school holidays)

SCOG’s prizegiving will be held a week after the last game - more details to follow during the season. 

We will hold a club meeting prior to the start of the season (date to be advised).

There are a few rule changes coming into effect this year i.e. don’t need to wait until all players are on the court for a throw in, no toss ups.  I’ll put together a sheet of the changes and will get it out to everyone prior to our first games.

Also this year is the 70th Anniversary of SCOG Netball so we need to celebrate in some way – please think about what we can do and also if you know of past members you/we can contact.
