Snow Sports NZ is looking for a Performance Culture Lead to join our Wānaka based team. Part-Time (0.6 FTE) | Fixed Term until July 2030.
Fresh from Milano Cortina 2026 and building toward the 2030 French Alps Winter Games, Snow Sports NZ is investing in the culture and leadership behind podium performance. We’re looking for a Performance Culture Lead to grow the capability of our leaders and mature the way we look after our people – staff, coaches and athletes.
You’ll be responsible for:
✔ Building the leadership and management capability of our senior and high-performance leaders – psychological safety, communication, and the everyday structures of good management.
✔ Leading the evolution of our wellbeing function into an embedded part of the performance system.
✔ Owning our wellbeing strategy and working with HPSNZ on future wellbeing initiatives.
✔ Creating candid, psychologically safe engagement across the organisation.
✔ Leaving a legacy – a more capable leadership group and a wellbeing function that runs itself.
This is a senior, part-time role with a direct line to our Chief Executive. If you have a track record in leadership and culture capability-building and experience in (or around) high-performance sport, we’d love to hear from you.
